Invitation to the 2nd Meeting of Young Biophysicists, November 13, 2026, Ruđer Bošković Institute, Zagreb

We are pleased to inform you that, after the successful holding of last year's 1st meeting of young biophysicists, The 2nd Young Biophysicists Conference will be held on November 13, 2026 at the Ruđer Bošković Institute (RBI) in Zagreb. The conference is organized by HBD with the support of the co-organizer IRB.

The aim of the meeting is to provide an opportunity to present research results in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, and to encourage the exchange of ideas and discussion among participants. Each presentation is scheduled for 10 minutes, followed by an additional 5 minutes for questions and discussion.

Topics: Molecular biophysics, membrane biophysics, cell biophysics, computational biophysics, applied biophysics

Dr. DUNJA ŠIMIČIĆ, Johns Hopkins Medicine, Department of Radiology and Radiological Science, Baltimore, MD, USA, with lecture title: Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy and Its Applications in Brain Tumor Research

Participation in the meeting is free of charge for HBD members, and the best oral presentations will be awarded.
