NOTICE TO MEMBERS: Membership Audit

January 18, 2015.

According to the new The Law on Associations It is necessary to carry out a membership audit, where all current (as well as new) members need to fill out a new admission ticket and send it to the secretary (email>>>).

After the audit, the list of members should be published on the Society's website.

ZoU: Art. 12, paragraph (4)

(4) The list of members shall be kept electronically or in another appropriate manner and shall contain information on the personal name (title), personal identification number (OIB), date of birth, date of joining the association, membership category, if determined by the association's statute, and date of termination of membership in the association, and may also contain other information.

Regular member can become:

• a natural person who deals with biophysics or has achieved success in scientific research work in the wider field of biophysics
• a legal entity with headquarters in the Republic of Croatia and abroad, if it supports and assists the activities of the Society

can become students who have attended at least one course in the broader field of biophysics. Younger members do not pay membership fees, unless they have received support from the Society in a given year.

Honorary member can become an individual person and legal entity who has significantly contributed to the development and reputation of the Croatian Biophysics society.

Membership fee

All members will be regularly informed about all activities of the Society, and are invited to actively participate in the implementation of the Society's goals. Members are also obliged to regularly pay membership fees (except for younger members). The annual membership fee is 60 kn. The membership fee for a legal entity is 1000 kn per year.

The membership fee must be paid to the Company's account, stating as the purpose of payment the member's last name and the year(s) for which the membership fee is paid.
