Short description

XBW 2013, the 8th Christmas Workshop on Biophysics, was held in Dobrna, Slovenia, on 16 and 17 December. This annual gathering brings together scientists working in the field of biophysics and soft matter physics from Slovenia, Croatia and Austria. The idea is to keep up to date with what is being done in the neighbourhood and also because potential collaborations are more financially feasible. HBD, as a sponsor of the event, provided support for the participation of younger members of the Society:
