Workshop for elementary school: “Microworld in a drop of seawater”

As part of the science popularization activities, a workshop entitled "Microworld in a Drop of Seawater" will be held at the Grigor Vitez Elementary School in Zagreb on September 19, 2025. The workshop will be led by Maja Levak Zorinc, PhD, from the Ruđer Bošković Institute.

Students will have the opportunity to discover the diversity of microscopic life and learn more about the importance of preserving marine ecosystems. The workshop encourages curiosity, scientific thinking, and a deeper understanding of the world around us, which often remains hidden from the naked eye. This workshop is part of a broader effort by the Croatian Biophysical Society to encourage early interest in science and research among elementary school students through collaboration with schools.
