Short description

XBW 2014, the 9th Christmas Workshop on Biophysics was held in Buzet. These annual gatherings bring together scientists working in the field of biophysics and soft matter physics from Slovenia, Croatia and Austria, and this time from Italy, i.e. nearby Trieste. The idea is to keep up to date with what is being done in the neighborhood, also because potential collaborations are materially easier to implement. HBD also received support from the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports for the organization of the meeting, the organization is led by S. Marion from the Institute of Physics.
